When I walked away from it all
I never expected any major downfall
I thought when people would be out of sight
They would be out of my mind
But old memories come back to haunt me
I remember when friends used to taunt me
We were as one
A perfect union
When we were about to get sacked
We had each others back
I really owe them the confidence
And owe them my self esteem
They helped me make a reputation
They completely changed my perception
How stupid was I to just walk by
Go away from it all
And not expect any downfall
I know what I need to do
Make up for my blunder
For one last time remember
Go down deep into the memory lane
For one last time I meet you
Although nothing compared to what I owe
This ode my friend is for you
And now that you have read this
My soul won’t cry
Again I will come by
Cause legends never die
Cause our friendship just attained immortality
